nydailynews.com - A soldier serving in Afghanistan teamed up with a pizza place in Florida to cook up a memorable birthday present for his wife: a heart-shaped pie.
Army National Guard Maj. Shawn Fulker enlisted the help of Mellow Mushroom in Fleming Island, Fla., to deliver a pepperoni pizza and a gift card to his wife and their 5-year-old son Ethan on Thursday for her 41st birthday. Fulker was thousands of miles away, making it a record-setting “pizza-to-go,” but Mellow Mushroom is his family's favorite pizza place. Continue
